This classroom course is designed to meet the needs of older drivers. Payment is due to the instructor at the time of the class. Check or cash only. Please make checks out to AARP. If paying with cash, please make sure to have exact change. Participants are asked to have their AARP membership card and drivers license with them on the day of the class. Registration is required. Alzheimer’s Association support groups, conducted by trained facilitators, are a safe place for partners caring for their persons living with dementia to:
– Develop a support system.
– Exchange practical information on challenges and possible solutions.
– Talk through issues and ways of coping.
– Share feelings, needs and concerns.
– Learn about community resources.
